URVI founder at Klassikradio: Nutritional supplements that fit modern life

More and more people are demanding maximum performance from their bodies and minds in their everyday urban life – between desks, subways and screens, there is often little room for regeneration.

In an exclusive interview with Klassik Radio, our founders David Keuchen and Tilman Schäfer talk about their new approach to nutritional supplements – and the role that prevention and simple routines play in this.

To achieve this goal, we develop our formulas together with a scientific advisory board. This combines expertise from molecular biology, clinical neurology, and preventive medicine. The focus areas range from stress management and mental balance to the interplay of the nervous system and modern lifestyle, as well as hormonal health and early disease prevention. This ensures that every recipe is scientifically sound and offers real added value in everyday life.

Prevention instead of reaction

"The classic idea of nutritional supplements is: I have a deficiency and I'm compensating for it," explains David. "But we think further. Nutritional supplements can be a proactive tool to specifically support areas of life like sleep, focus, or stress balance." Our approach at URVI: not just tolerating the urban lifestyle, but consciously shaping it – with products that prevent chronic stress or exhaustion before it develops.

Gummies as a delicious alternative in everyday life

Many people are familiar with the problem: capsules are forgotten, powders are cumbersome, or taste unpleasant. "This is exactly where we come in with our gummies," says Tilman. "They taste really good, are easy to integrate into everyday life, and are ideal for on the go."

The sensorially appealing form also improves adherence: people who avoid capsules or tablets can more easily integrate regular intake into their routine with gummies [1]. Gummies offer clear advantages, especially in hectic urban environments where efficiency and convenience are crucial.

Bioavailability

Recent studies confirm the high bioavailability of active ingredients in gummies. Studies on vitamin D show that the maximum blood concentration and total absorption can be significantly higher with gummies than with traditional tablets – in some studies, almost twice as high [2]. Studies on other micronutrients also show that for water- and fat-soluble vitamins, gummies are at least as effective as tablets [3]. These findings underscore the benefits of gummies as an effective alternative to the traditional dosage form.

Performance-oriented formula

"We don't want standard products," David continues. "Our gummies are dosed in a way that's based on current scientific findings – and provides support precisely where everyday life demands it most."

Our Neuro Support, for example, contains a very high dose of 200 mg of L-theanine per serving – equivalent to the calming amount of about 12 cups of green tea.

Our products deliberately focus on highly effective concentrations of individual ingredients that reinforce each other, rather than on non-specific blends. This way, we create targeted solutions for focus, calm, and balance.
